Why is the spring all messed up like a “poodle hair”?

I had the front “KAWASAKI” bracket remade.
The wheel bearing feel seemed off . . . but glad my hunch was wrong
I injected a little NC100
The speed side is OK
No good—once you remove the basic seal ★
I washed the calipers on both sides
Neither side is centered . . .
Is the wheel straight?
If I start second-guessing everything, there’s no end to it . . .
I swapped the bolts for shiny Yamaha ones
The stem damper’s ball joint crimp is all loose.
It looks like there’s a pin in there, but it’s not right, so I’ll remove it.
A bike is good when it’s clean and simple ★
Just finished the front side and feeling a bit deflated . . .
I’ll pick it up again tomorrow.
