This pretty pricey material has its drawbacks, though…
When you label it with the Tepra like this ↑
you have to heat it…
and that means you have to shrink the tubing below it too, which is a bit of a hassle.
When laying out the wiring,
I’m in the camp that doesn’t shrink the tubing when threading it on.
When you shrink it, it clings tight to the wire and the look is just… not quite right.
A nice loose, soft curve looks “wow!!” you know?
It’s just personal preference.
The Tepra Pro always produces “waste” at the start…
That’s about 10 mm or so.
Do it 10 times and that’s 100 mm—that’s ridiculous.
So just run it all out at once and cut it later!
