The flange is standing up even more,
and the HID unit has a higher step, so that’s what’s making contact.
Burned it again… I still can’t quite get the hang of welding ★
Round off the flange nut head a bit, tap tap tap.
Each unit has to go somewhere ★
If I just zip-tie it, that becomes DIY…
So I’ll mock it up first with the goals of “easy to place, hard to see from outside, and clean wiring.”
Let me put the two biggest units in front of the battery case first…

A neat rectangle is surprisingly hard to pull off, so going geometric tricks the eye ★
Electrical components are best mounted floating when possible.
