This way is definitely cooler looking and way easier to attach and detach★

You have to watch out for spots where a decent amount of current is constantly flowing!
Point contact creates an insulating film and things get hot? Maybe?
Soldering the spade terminal is the safe approach.
First and foremost, it means fewer problems and peace of mind.
