This time we have oil-cooled maintenance and a few other requests.
Oil-cooled engine maintenance… ¥38,640. A menu unique to our shop, having serviced numerous oil-cooled bikes.
The generator damper still had decent elasticity.
When old, it hardens like this and cracks.
When old it gets noisy and rattles. ★
The customer wanted the final drive replaced, so we swapped it out.
Rust is the enemy, so we cleaned it up nicely. Nuts and washers are replaced with new ones.
It’s worn quite a bit. There was no play, so it’s about normal wear.
The hole diameter has a pretty loose tolerance, so fixing it at a good position is better.
The slider on the right side is pretty bad…
Haven’t we been seeing a lot of helicoils lately??
Inserted it exactly 1D. ★
The area around the collapsed threads rises up, so we chamfered it.
I thought the chamfering might have made it risky, but it’s just barely OK.
