Well, this is a continuation from yesterday.
Punching with a gasket punch and such creates a clean hole.
The serial number in a subtle gothic font—it really helps to have colored heat shrink tubing like this.
As for the bracket, we’re reusing it—or rather, we used the one that came with it this time.
Painting it black gives it a sleek look. Since you can’t tell which way the coil goes, I labeled it with a label maker.
The latest-model Watanabe unit mount secures it with floating fixation.
It’s a modified OEM part, but it fits surprisingly well.
This is the layout we went with.
The fuse box is also secured in place.
We relocated the battery terminal connection since the original looked unsightly. ★
Now we’re just waiting for the anodizing to finish.
