Collecting parts bit by bit… couldn’t finish it all at once… Bicycles are always this way—standards are all over the place, naming conventions are all over the place, even when you ask around or research it stays vague, and tolerances are loose and forgiving. It’s a wonderfully chaotic world.
We have an American-made carbon frame called the ZIPP2001.
It’s a 650C frame with an S-beam, I think—or at least that’s what I recall.
In 700C, the rear end sits way too high and it’s basically unrideable at that size. But with a 700C wheel on the 650C frame, the proportions look so tight and snug—I think it looks really cool.
