
The OHLINS front and rear have returned from G-SENSE, so we’ll get them installed right away.

The surface treatment on these inner tubes is really tough. Between the owner’s cleaning and everything else, there’s barely a scratch on them. We’re grateful for that.

While we’re at it, we’ll touch up some of the less-than-ideal installation work.

The touch-up took longer than expected, but it looks clean and really nice now.

The engine slider mounting bolts keep coming loose, and the owner wants to fix that.
Since it’s bolted directly to POM plastic, the material gives way and won’t tighten properly. Thread-locking compound isn’t something we’d recommend here.

We had spacers on hand that we use for floating mounts, so we enlarged the hole and pressed them in. That’s the better approach.
This way the spacers won’t fall out when you remove things, which improves serviceability—not that we take it apart that often, but it’s peace of mind.

We changed the engine oil to Newtech NC50, of course.

Looking around the shop, there are seven oil-cooled bikes fitted with Bright Logic titanium full exhausts… really quality builds.
We swapped the rear battery and we’re done.
