This is a GS1200SS that recently passed inspection. The owner requested oil-cooled maintenance, Deco-mainte, and inspection services.
It’s a beautiful machine, almost completely original.
Given its year, there isn’t much wear, and it doesn’t appear to have experienced any severe overheating.
The damper wear is minimal. There’s some wear on the contact points, but it shouldn’t be a problem.
Let’s remove the front hanger and reassemble it in a better-fitting position.
From here we’ll proceed with assembly, and that’s where we’ll leave it for today.
