We’ve been holding onto it since a crash with some complications. Since it’s about time to ride again, we’re getting started.
The headlight being all loose is a sign that the plastic ball has failed.
It’s gotten sloppy, so the pivot point isn’t fixed and the light beam won’t aim properly.
It’s not a place you open up often, so we’ll replace any parts we can with new ones.
The lens has a bit of cloudiness, so let’s clean it up.
The plating inside is tarnished, and this is about as good as it gets.
We’ve installed a new bent bracket.
