I thought I was holding back, but I ended up with 1,000 shots.
This time I used mostly AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II/AF-S TELECONVERTER TC-20E III & DX crop.
Seat 2F-9 B, roughly in the middle of the second floor.
Using the 70-200, teleconverter, and crop made it enjoyable.
No cropping in post.
I’m glad I didn’t unnecessarily buy a 300/F4.

I struggled with the brightness difference between the ring and the ceiling/seats. Even with HDR it didn’t work out, so I gave up.
It’s fun to use occasionally, but the inability to stop down is a bit disappointing.
Binoculars or opera glasses would be even better. I think 4x magnification would be plenty.
