We had some time left over, so we moved forward with what we could get done.
This time the convenient part is the type that gets fixed by press-fitting.
We wired it up the usual way.
We managed to get it installed. We ran into some trouble with the wiring barely touching the cover, and for a moment I thought I was going to lose it, but we managed to avoid it—glad we did.
Now it’s easy to attach and detach.
We also installed the handlebar lock.
It’s good that there’s no worry about it breaking even if you forget to remove the key.
We’ll install the sprocket damper kit. More to come later.
