Let’s relocate the seat opener and handle various other things.
The sensor that was brought in was different, so we sourced the correct one and installed it.
The bolts got longer and nuts are needed too. Since this also improves serviceability and reduces weight, we installed helicoils.
If the right one isn’t needed, the left one isn’t either, so we removed it.

We laid out the wire in a gentle curve so it doesn’t contact the fairing, and when you think about it being safe even when the swingarm comes up, there aren’t actually that many options.
Just having it installed isn’t enough, so it takes time to work through the considerations.
