This is the LED headlight that’s been getting a lot of buzz lately. The nice thing is how easy it is to install.
Standard halogen + battery direct relay + OEM multi-reflector: 45,000 cd
LED + battery direct relay + OEM multi-reflector: 17,000 cd
Whether the relay makes a difference in power consumption is debatable, but it does provide stable supply.
With older lenses and harnesses, passing inspection would be tough. For newer bikes, it should be fine.
If you’re going with HID, I’d recommend this option. After that, it comes down to durability.
