I wonder how many years these wheels have been sitting around. Finally time to install them.
The attachment was custom-made by a fabricator. It turned out beautifully, preserving the ABS while maintaining a clean design.
The covering area is angled.
It’s finished at an angle that follows the contour. Wow, fantastic.
The sprocket side is even more elaborate, but I’ll skip the details.
I really hate bolts sticking out like this.
About two threads is fine. It feels like it gets just a little lighter.
If you cut them carefully and keep the lengths uniform, it looks really nice.
In the end, I couldn’t wait for the alpha14, so I’m reusing the tire. It’ll be 4.50, so it opens up a bit. I’ll just have to live with it.
It suddenly looks tighter, or maybe it just feels heavier visually.
When I get a chance, I’ll make a cool 304 carrier.
