This is quite a rare machine. We’re handling the inspection and Deco-mainte.
We wipe down the chain with a cloth lightly dampened in chain oil, taking our time with it.
We carefully clean the spots that can’t be reached without disassembly.
Disassembling and oiling the chain adjuster bolts at times like this makes adjustments smooth later.
The rear axle showed no issues.
Lately I haven’t seen many failed bearings. I’d say it’s not unreasonable to replace them after running around 30,000 kilometers or so.
The damper is deep—quietly impressive. This looks like it’ll hold up well. Removal’s going to be a hassle though.
We clean the rear caliper. The dust buildup was just right. Operation is fine.
