A story from a while back… (still in progress, though)
Let’s change the wheel color and give it a fresh look.
The two of us agonized over it for two weeks? An hour? We mixed gold and silver touch-up pens together—is this it? A little more?—and kept stirring and stirring until we settled on this unreproducible gold.
Why are the bolt lengths different on the right and left? We could have tapped a bit more to get them the same size. (Removing the disk separately might reduce mistakes.)
I’m writing down the dimensions like a time capsule for whoever comes next.
It feels great to polish even the small parts before assembling them.
I recently realized that “making it clean = actually nobody notices.”
The thing about the Marchesini wheels where the air valve wasn’t the priority.
