This is a Nissin 4P 30-34 caliper. Since it’s anodized, the work goes very smoothly.

The lubrication system is anodized with a smooth surface.

I can’t write about it yet, but I recently discovered that using a certain chemical really helps remove caliper dust.

I lifted the front and fabricated our shop’s understated stainless steel brake hose.
A gentle curve with a simple layout is best, I think (‘ω’)ノ
I made a bracket to secure the TEE FIT. Fixing it with cable ties makes the surrounding area messy, so let’s secure it properly like the factory.
The layout is pretty tight. Did you know that laying out off-the-shelf finished brake hoses neatly is actually the hardest part?
Even with easy-order options, it’s still difficult. Fitting to the actual bike is really the best way.
Is it okay to bolt-fix Delrin? Even at 10N or so, it loosens easily, doesn’t it?
I was thinking of putting in a sleeve, but there’s barely any meat on it. So I decided to use thread locker for drop-out prevention instead. Too bad (ΦωΦ)
The cover thickness differs between the 750 and 1100/1200. We need to make a spacer for the difference.
I didn’t make it stepped. No round stock, so I ended up doing something really wasteful—machining from 20mm. . . .
I’m swapping in a newer generator.
The tooth count (outer diameter) is different, so we’ll convert it.

My recent epoxy recommendation is this one! Strong against pulling forces! 3M 2082C and I’ll apply it.

The bar-end fixing screw is M5 but I got M8, and even if I thread it, the weight doesn’t change much. . . . I’ll put this on hold for now (‘ω’)ノ
