I’ve been thinking about a gentler approach that wraps everything from the ground up, not just sitting on top.

If the ground is bare soil, it’s basically out of the question—though I hope no one actually parks on dirt (‘;’)
Isn’t this motorcycle cover pretty great?
I haven’t used it myself, but it should wrap the bike completely from the ground up.
There are merits and drawbacks alike.
• Condensation concerns—since it’s sealed, daytime temperatures can get quite high. In the worst case, you could see temperature swings of over 10 degrees, which raises some concern about condensation inside the tank and elsewhere.
* Avoiding direct sunlight might help.
• Basically the same issue, but you can’t cover it while it’s hot.
This is obvious, but with a full cover, it might warrant extra attention.
• It takes up more space than a standard cover
Aside from these three points, it seems pretty good to me. Motorcycle covers don’t last forever anyway. If you get a chance, why not give it a try?
