[Thoughts] Give your things a home by organizing them.

My possessions have no fixed home.

Where I put things is always free and easy, wherever and whenever.
“The closest spot on the top shelf is my favorite,” sounds nice, but we could make better use of our space and time.

We all have moments in our personal lives and at work when we’re in a rush.
In those moments, what frustrates us most is when we can’t find something, isn’t it?

If things have a fixed place, you just head there to get what you need.
When you’re done, you put it away.
That’s all it takes to reduce frustration and make better use of your living time.

Doesn’t organizing take a lot of time?
Of course it does. You have to spend time to gain time. But for people with lots of things and lots to do, I believe organizing will always make “time gained minus time spent” come out positive.
As a bonus, organizing makes cleaning easier, reduces stress which is good for your mental health, makes moving simpler, makes inventory management easier, and makes it easier to move things in a disaster—it’s all benefits.

If you think this moment of investment is wasteful, you’ll never stop wasting time in the future…
Motorcycle repair and maintenance are the same.
Sloppy work done in a rush or as a temporary fix always comes back to haunt you later.
I try to live each day questioning myself about this (*’ω’*)
