But this is seriously loud. We wanted to tone down the volume, but it’s not working out so easily. Restrict it too much and it won’t rev, open it up and it’s deafening. It’s obvious, but balance is everything. (‘ω’)ノ
The silencer wasn’t supposed to arrive until early November, but it showed up out of nowhere? I’m shocked.
I made a 50.8→54φ adapter.
I added some perforated material, hoping it’ll help reduce noise by catching some of the exhaust flow.
There’s also a trick where you stuff stainless steel wool inside for extra sound dampening. For now, this is what we’ve got.
Since this was a short silencer, I’m offsetting it toward the rear for a long-style look.
I gave it a good radius treatment with a modified router. (‘ω’)ノ

One spring is missing, so we’re waiting on parts.
