[Thoughts] The most important and precious tool is your hands and body.

Nitrile gloves have become relatively easy to get these days. That’s fortunate.

The current best are Harada Sangyo’s Grippers. In terms of feel, I think they beat RAVEN (by our standards).
I find myself thinking every day that it’s important to care for both your fingertips and palms and use them carefully and thoughtfully.

When someone gets a hangnail or a cut and says “this sting is irresistible,” it’s a bit awkward.
Basically, pain reduces efficiency in both work and daily life.

It’s better to avoid damage as much as possible.
Using nitrile gloves and similar protection to reduce hand irritation and cuts is the first step toward improving efficiency.

I understand that work can be difficult when you’re not used to it. However, people doing more complex and hygiene-sensitive work, and certainly those in medical settings, always wear gloves and perform delicate tasks, so this is something to overcome through habit and practice.

When your hands are dirty… “your entire workflow becomes dirty.”
The phone is dirty. The faucet handle is dirty. The power switches are dirty. The door handles are dirty.
Looking at this dirt during this pandemic, I realize it’s a visualization of how frequently people touch things.

The same goes for gloves, goggles, and earmuffs.
*I prefer 3M, so I don’t use anything else.
I injured my eye by not wearing goggles.
I spent too much time without earmuffs and my hearing got worse.
It’s a bit of a hassle, but it’s worth keeping up with. I think people only realize how important their body is when they lose or diminish a function.
Nobody praises that, and there’s nothing to be proud of.

I think it’s worth taking a fresh look at your surroundings.
