It’s been a week of oil-cooled Katanas (*^-^*)
Brake caliper OH, fluid exchange, SHELL ADV-U4T oil exchange, and Katana rear reservoir tank installation—that’s the order.
Due to time constraints today, I’m going to keep this post a bit light.
The request is to swap out the rear master tank for the genuine Katana one.
We fabricated it from round bar, TO collar, and plate—the most flexible approach.
Partway through, the torch switch we’d just replaced the other day died… I spent nearly an hour troubleshooting.
It kept acting up more and more, and at the end I had a scary moment where the welder would start just by turning on the power…
How nice that we had one in stock at the shop (‘ω’)ノ Completely back to life!
This is what it looks like from the outside.
The inside looks like this. It’s removable with a single M6 bolt (‘ω’)ノ
