Now I can check the spring rate with a spring tester.

After vacuum bleeding and oil level adjustment, the fork OH is complete.


We were planning to replace the stem bearings, but the condition was good so we reused them.

The aftermarket stopper was loose too, so we tightened it and applied Loctite.


We sealed in Neutech NC100 grease and got nice, responsive steering.

Check first, check second. Let’s make sure everything assembles smoothly as we go.

The axle shaft is fine too.


It’s good to clean the speedometer gear too.
Some people slather grease all over it from the outside, but… I don’t see the point…
