I got a little worked up.

Original colors exclusive to certain retailers have always been common.
But since I don’t check daily,
I’m often surprised, thinking “What’s that? Did you paint it?”

Helmets with a nice paint job easily run over 50,000 yen, often into the six figures.
Thinking about it the other way, if you were planning to paint it anyway, getting a new one at this price point is actually a fantastic deal.
Plus you can just click and buy it on Amazon.

As for helmets, I used to favor open-face ones a lot back in the day (jet shield—is that even a term anymore?).
But as the years go by, I find myself leaning more toward safety than comfort.

The thought of falling face-first and the shield lifting up… it gives me chills.
If you’re a fan of the RX-7X SCHWANTZ and love Arai, this is really something you should go for! Don’t you think?
My head size is XS (54 cm), so within my size range, this is the second-highest price. It’s a tough call… really tough.
