I finally made my Netflix debut, better late than never.
Back in the day, there were shows like 24 and Prison Break—I bet your generation watched them too, right?
Back then, we’d dash to Tsutaya to rent DVDs, then rent the next episode when we were ready—such a hassle compared to now.
But now? You can just keep watching endlessly without any of that fuss.
There’s so much content I can’t even search through it all—and I couldn’t watch it all anyway.
I’m amazed by how addictive Netflix really is.
When it comes to foreign dramas, the finish quality
is amazing.
It feels like you’re watching a movie—the production value and tension are incredible.
Plus, the storytelling is so skillful that every episode ends with “Oh, it’s ending right there?” and right after finishing, you immediately want to see what happens next. That’s how highly addictive it is.
Is jumping in late actually a good thing?
There’s a huge backlog of past shows. That’s right—like a completed manga, you can
binge it all at once. Or watch a little every day.
It’s incredibly entertaining, but the addictiveness is so high that I can’t really recommend it
????
You’ll definitely lose sleep right from the start of the new year. You’ll come home wanting to watch more… If you get hooked, it’s the worst.
And it pairs incredibly well with a projector.
I ended up buying the rental unit I had as a brand new item.
So XGIMI HORIZON Pro Real 4K Home Projector
By the way, it’s currently on sale at Amazon’s New Year sale with a huge discount (*’ω’*)

It’s currently ¥168,206 (tax included).
I bought the rental unit as is, so it was a bit cheaper. It happened to work out that way, but that’s one strategy too. *Even with rental fees included, it was about ¥10,000 cheaper.
In the end, it’s really fun, but there are costs like
Netflix fees and projector expenses, and
you lose time in your day. What you gain and what you lose
If you’re just mindlessly watching YouTube, there’s definitely a more fun world waiting for you. *It’s so fun I can’t recommend it ( ;∀;)
