More expensive than a new bike… the world is glitching. Kawasaki as a manufacturer is truly great.
Even after production ends, the price surge doesn’t help…
Remove the front and rear wheels and check for runout and such.
Sometimes without realizing it, the wheels can be bent.
The wheel bearings were replaced previously and there were no issues.
Clean the chain and apply lubricant.
If you clean the inside of the chain case at times like this, you can prevent buildup.
Clean each speed gear and wire component individually and reassemble them, and it should feel sharp.
The front and rear axle shafts are fine.
The rear one gets “pulled hard by the chain!” so sometimes a little runout can develop.
The calipers should be considered for overhaul soon.
Kneading a stiff caliper won’t help no matter how much you try.
Caliper groove dirt and seal deterioration. Even kneading only improves it slightly.
Parts that can be cleaned will last longer when finished and reassembled, and “good condition should continue for a long time” should be the result.
Clean and lubricate the front fork and check the condition of rust and dirt.
Just doing this makes a huge difference in how long the seals and inner tubes last.
“Not letting it rust” might be the most important thing.
Clean hard-to-reach inside areas at times like this.
” Clean View No-Touch ” is a must-have chemical.
Since it was replaced previously, the disc thickness is fine.
Remove both left and right levers and clean and lubricate them, and “a smoother condition will continue longer” for sure.
The throttle area also gets subtly stiff over time.
What you do is “check and then clean and lubricate” that’s all the invincible lubricant becomes extremely smooth.
I also removed the left and right pedals and made them smooth in the same way.
