Well, the caliper had gotten old, so a good used one was brought in.

It’s an anodized caliper, so we’ll work through it manually!
It’s best to pass the caliper seal through the piston to inspect it properly.
We swapped the nipple out for a titanium one.
I’d love to make this part titanium on every bike…
No matter how clean you keep it, it’ll rust… so definitely!
The caliper split bolts are my favorite—trivalent black iron.
I really do prefer basic iron after all…
When comparing new and old, the color difference is striking.
Well, the rear Brembo cast is so rough that dirt tends to accumulate easily.
We also replaced the split O-ring.
It has to be fluid-compatible, or it won’t work.
Installation and bleeding complete!
Next is the digital gauge swap and we’re done~
Finally the backlog is shrinking and we’re getting back to normal.
