it’s selling pretty well worldwide.

That’s quite an impressive face though
Since it’s new,
I’ll do a 1-year inspection check.

That said,
I’ve never actually touched the new GSX-S1000
so

The cords don’t have numbering
or anything
This year I’ll definitely get a P-TOUCH

is pretty useful.

Already sparkling clean!
From the start
it’s got iridium-like plugs
and high durability.

The GSX-S1000 had this option available
so I chose this one.

Now we can
take in fresh air.

Resin parts tend to get charged
and dust won’t come off
In those cases static electricity prevention spray
makes it come right off.

I’ll cover the wheels carefully
so they don’t get scratched.

Now I’ll change the fork oil.
Inverted forks
require a compressor so it’s a bit of work

It stands on its own! Easy to compress,
I’m really glad I bought it.

However,
while it can handle forks with longer free length,
shorter forks
sometimes can’t be fully compressed.

Long forks rarely come in,
so I use spacers to make up the difference

That said, L01 is “colorless and transparent”
it’s just slightly yellowed

For cartridge-type forks, using a vacuum pump
to bleed air is more reliable
I’d recommend it for Makita fans

For mud dirt like this, no-touch is best
I’ll just add a bit of shine
to make the dirt less noticeable.

Just a light application
will penetrate and make dirt less likely to stick
and easier to remove.

A bike = a collection of parts
I basically only look at the parts, not the bike itself

If I write down the names and quantities
mistakes will definitely decrease.

Work that doesn’t rely on memory alone
is actually important.

I also checked the chain, controls, and battery.

All that’s left is a test ride and the invoice and we’re done~
