The weather is really quite nice right now~ But honestly, I hate the period before Golden Week…( ；∀；)
During these March-April-May months, inspections and work get extremely packed, you know. “I recommend changing your inspection schedule” *You can actually get your inspection done anytime throughout the year. Roughly speaking, from when you change and obtain it“two years later”is how you should think about it.
“Changing to September-October-November is what I recommend~”
We cleaned the calipers on both sides. Since we maintain it regularly, there’s no rust and it’s in excellent condition.
Along with adjusting the wheel bearing position, we’ll also replace the oil seal.
Suzuki’s wheel oil seals are abnormal… It’s rare to find a manufacturer with this much friction.＊There’s even suspicion that it’s not actually a wheel seal to begin with The collar wears down, so we adjust the collar contact area with a rubber stone. The collar doesn’t wear down and friction decreases = the rolling improves a bit with this method
The axle shaft is also in good condition.
When removing the air cleaner element, we replace it
Rather than checking for dirt and deciding whether to replace it, if you’re going to look at it, just replace it—this approach is subtly good. It’s definitely dirtyand when you “sniff” it, it smells like gasoline.
If you’re going to look at it, replace it! I think that’s the way to go.
We replaced the fluid and we’re all done. Since delivery is next month, I’ll take it for a test ride in between(*´ω｀*)!
