Some preparation is needed before overhauling the carburetor as a single unit.
First, the exterior must be removed and installed.
Next, move the air cleaner box and other components to remove the carburetor.
Depending on the individual unit, this is not always easy.
In most cases, the surrounding area becomes quite messy, so cleaning becomes essential.
The effort required for removal and cleaning is surprisingly significant.
We roughly clean the carburetor with carburetor cleaner and wash it roughly on a washing stand.
We disassemble the carburetor one by one and then finish it like new using baking soda wet blasting.
Just because it’s clean doesn’t mean performance improves.
However, the satisfaction of looking at it will be quite significant.
