Converting the Inazuma to GSF1200?? GSX1200S Oil-Cooled Inazuma Katana BST36 Installation Swingarm OH Fork OH & Bottom Case Machining

Today I’m also doing some moving in and out and customer service, working on the project in between.

I’m going to swap it out for a Bandit 1200 fork for rolling.

Keeping the front end lifted is scary.
I’ll temporarily assemble it using a Bandit 1200 fork and axle that someone threw away long ago.

The brake won’t fit because the caliper pitch is different~

First, I’ll extract just the bottom case.

Oh~ there’s no slide metal on the inner tube side…
A bit concerning.

The dirt level is quite mild, so the timing might have been just right.
I’ll ask the expert to do the grinding work and axle enlargement.
