The drive chain is DID party (*´ω`*)
OEM adoption, world No. 1 reliability
Of course, other companies make wonderful products too.
Consumables have that aspect where continued use builds trust and peace of mind.
It’s hard to judge quality from just one or two uses, and there’s varied information gathered from different owners using them over distance and time I think.
Polish the counter shaft threads (‘Д’)

I want to be free from trouble… that’s what I think every day.
Smooth installation and removal That’s what matters most.

Micro-capsule thread locker is something to remove.
Liquid thread locker gives a more solid tightening feel I think.
This is getting long so I’ll skip ahead…
Struggled for the first time removing the engine damper?

Akrapovic exhaust pipe has quite an aggressive layout and tools won’t fit…
Had a hard time removing the split frame.
Well, it came off safely so all’s good

It had some nice wear on it.
Should get a bit snappier (*´ω`*)

I’m the type who wants to eliminate all sources of worry.
It’s nice when bolts go in smoothly.
Replacing the hub damper too

I think about this sometimes…
Wouldn’t it be a pain if the hub damper gets discontinued?
Rubber parts are basically consumables. They need periodic replacement with mileage and time.
I think it’s reassuring to replace them when you think of it.

OEM hub bearings are non-sealed.
Greased them up.
With the spirit of Italian-made pants

So I gave it a wet blast.
Assembly feels great
Single-piston caliper boots need periodic replacement

Honestly, it makes quite a significant difference for better or worse.
Especially those who wash the caliper with the boots on need to be careful.
The shafts and holes rust and things that should move become stiff, so replace them periodically.

The caliper condition was good too.
As expected from Nissin! As expected from an anodized caliper

The shaft condition was fine too.

Changed the engine oil (*´ω`*)
Almost complete now.
To be continued
