Making brake hoses is somewhat expensive!
Ready-made products sold commercially are cheaper
That said,
I’m not obsessed with cost
I’d like to make my beloved bike
clean and cool-looking
so that’s why I do this work.

With anodized finish,
there’s tension twisting the hose
it gets all twisted up
that’s a bit scary, isn’t it?

Can 2969 work with convex-convex?
Really at the tip
Indeed, without a gasket it seats flush
barely works…
Well, I won’t do it though…

At times like this,
I remove them.
Standardizing with bolts improves workability and
looks cleaner (*´ω`*)

Brake systems have various neck-down dimensions.
The banjo thickness varies
probably because of that.
Always insert the bolt alone and
check it first.

After wet blasting,
it looks nice and clean.
The bolts are definitely flanged

TEE-FIT uses lugs bolted down
cable tie fixing causes rubbing all around, so
I don’t recommend it.

As time passes, I laid it out
like this.

Clean and fresh, with good maintainability too.

Check the brake hose length
with the fork fully extended.
Too long or too short won’t work

The left caliper support threads are stripped
I usually notice it when tightening.
Oh! It’s going…
In that case, I break it and do helicoil repair

Thin wall thickness is fine,
but when tapping, using a guide is safer.
If the guide surface aligns perfectly,
the seating surface is usually straight.
Trusting the drill press
and tapping directly is risky too
drill presses aren’t that reliable…

Repaired M10-1.25.
I installed a 1D insert.
M10-1.25 tangless
still hasn’t come out.
Is there little demand for fine pitch?

That’s how it turned out (*´ω`*)
The bolts ship Thursday…
That makes me think a bit…
