Oil pan? Even though it’s so small, it’s still lovely (*´ω｀*)
The oil pan gasket discontinued issue left me going “Sigh… (*´Д｀)”, but
with the power of the Internet! (broadband), I managed to work around it somehow.
“Repro” parts are really amazing…
So I removed the oil pan (so-called).
It has a water pump drive method I’ve never seen before.
It converts the force 90 degrees and rotates it.
That’s quite rare… really.
The gasket arrived, so I temporarily installed it to check.
No problems at all! Perfect (*´ω｀*)
I want to keep the places you can’t see clean.
When I take it apart again in the future, “Oh!” It’s nice to have a bike that makes you think that.
Already after helicoil tap processing,
there’s a slit so oil drains easily.
Because of that, there are only about 3 threads that engage all the way around.
Oil drainage will be slightly slower (small amount), but I prioritized safety.
The bolt needs to go in smoothly by hand, or there’s a problem.
Now it’s perfect.
Don’t you worry about the extra thread?
The number of times you turn the bolt increases with each attachment and detachment, and it gets slightly heavier too.
I have various bolts in stock, so I’ll replace them. (steel)
The sprocket cover bolts have also turned black.
I also replaced the shift arm bolts.
