The pivot collar won’t come out, so I’m getting a bad feeling…
Sprayed some lubricant and let it sit.
A few minutes later, pop? Oh no~
Even this hard bushing wears down… rust is scary.
Of course, the bearings are shot too.
This long collar is already discontinued, so we’ll transplant it from a good one we have.
I won’t bother checking the details,
but this bushing is critical—it handles the inner diameter, outer diameter, and the needle bearing load.
Basically, the part that doesn’t contact the bearing can be a regular collar.
*Well, this time we’ll go with a good one. This kind of work is pretty common these days…
