Boom! (; ・`д・´)
Yamaha OEM Brembo radial master (16φ) BEB2583T10
What happens when you fit this to a single-piston 38φ × 2 caliper???
I thought it wouldn’t work, but I installed it anyway (*´з`)

You can’t tell what the actual feel will be from the master diameter alone (*´з`)
This is actually pretty common, so it’s not straightforward.
You have to think through various combinations of master diameter, stroke, and lever ratio.
In the end, you just can’t know until you try it.

Since I didn’t get any instructions about the master tank, I’ll reuse the included tank.
I covered it with a bracket like this.

This included tank is the worst to use (; ・`д・´)
I wonder if it’s for clip-on bars or something…

On the master side, offsetting it 20 degrees seems to be the cleanest layout I can achieve right now.

A long time ago, I had experience fitting a Brembo racing master 16φ to a stock caliper on a GSX1100S Katana.
I remember the feel being soft,
so I was a bit worried this time—actually, pretty worried about it…
Very good (・´з`・). I think it has a nice feel. You can grip it firmly!

A request to install some questionable(?) Daytona LED bulbs (‘ω’)ノ
Warm white, that’s what they call it… The attention to detail is amazing!

Here it is—the reserve riding system.
Kawasaki had them too…
Was it an attempt to make things convenient? A thing of that era?
When you think about it now, it’s heavy, a hassle, and you wonder if you even need such a system.
The GS1000 also has a system where the turn signals automatically cancel after running a certain distance… Do you really need that? Those were good times…
I checked the wiring diagram and bypassed it—done! (*´ω`)

So… warm white… That’s pretty niche

I’ll disassemble the rear master.
The tank doesn’t have an O-ring configuration, so I won’t take it apart this time. *Already learned that lesson

It’s needlessly complicated… Did modern times become too streamlined?
The clips are all rusty and stuck… I had to dig them out to get them off.

Is this what they mean by ‘end of service’? It’s that rusty (; ・`д・´)

Let me compare the piston diameter and overall length of old and new before assembly!

I’ve fabricated the brake hoses (‘ω’)ノ
Easy disconnection and layout with a simple configuration is what I think looks best.

If you lay it out properly, you’ll need minimal tie-down points.
Also, using fittings instead of banjos makes it easier to adjust the rotation direction, so you can achieve an optimal layout more easily (・´з`・)

I’ll change the engine oil.
This time I’m using Shell Advance Ultra 4T 15W-50. ← Shell novelty items available here

It’s rough, so I gave it a light wet blast
Now I just need to write up the invoice and we’re done! (・´з`・)
