We’re continuing to troubleshoot a slight running issue.
We checked compression on cylinders #1 through #4 and inspected the ignition system—no problems found.

Kawasaki parts availability is really rough right now.
Surprisingly, I’ve noticed that valve shim inventory is actually pretty well stocked.
Two-valve designs like this are a real help when it comes to serviceability.
It’s genuinely user-friendly engineering.
The camshaft was in nice condition. It wasn’t way off, but I adjusted three spots to Yoshimura specs.
