Sportster 1200 Motogadget Chronoclassic CHC-B8-YLC Installation

Well now…
We don’t work on foreign bikes or do custom work, so don’t get the wrong idea.

Chronoclassic Black 8K Yellow LC Display CHC-B8-YLCinstallation request.
We took it in last summer, I think…

So I’m going to work through this quickly to avoid spending too much time thinking about it.

First, we’ll use the top bridge that was brought in, so I’m removing the existing one (*^-^*)

Pure iron? Really masculine craftsmanship.
Solid and sturdy? They must have wanted it that way.

Is it a habit to apply thread locker on Harleys? I don’t think so…
Thread locker on the lock nut…
Thread locker on the turn signals too…

No matter how much heat I apply or how much I lubricate, nothing budges. Unfortunately, since I can’t remove the turn signals, they’re not reusable. I’m confident I’d break them for sure (*^-^*)

The connector was hard to remove, so I enlarged the hole.
A hydraulic punch is really handy to have.

Mine is a Kamekura brand, but for DIY, even an inexpensive one works fine.
When you need to drill a larger hole later, it’s really effective (*^-^*)

Hard to explain? Meter panel holes are super easy…
Using a hole saw is noisy, dusty, and the finishing work is a hassle. Definitely worth it.

For now, I’m temporarily fixing it with repeat tape to select the appearance.

I need to keep things flexible as much as possible…
I think I was staring at a GSX1200S the other day in the same way…

Suzuki happened to be a dealer, so he arranged everything at lightning speed.

I mean, I only opened it for the first time today… to be continued.
I’ll say it again, but we’re not a custom shop, so please note that.
