That’s the reason.
This looks a bit sketchy.
Neither the light output nor the beam axis is working.
If you don’t ride at night it’s fine, but switching to NOVSIGHT H4hi/lo gives you peace of mind.

Experimenting with LED bulbs usually ends in failure.
This won’t pass, so I’ll go with a standard bulb.

The insulation and connectors were all brittle and cracked, so I replaced them with new ones.
Feels great!
Just to be safe, I’ll keep it in this state for a bit.
Since it’s not leaking, that’s good enough.
