The new harness has arrived, so I’m going to get it installed (‘ω’)ノ
I did a little research and it seems to be something like an A5… mysterious?
Always inspect the harness before installing it—don’t just bolt it on.
It’s a pain to take it back off after installation if something’s wrong.
Check once, then check again.
The old harness still had its tags on it, which was a lifesaver.
Without those, this would have been a nightmare…
The headlight harness is also subtly different… it’s discontinued, so I’ll modify this one and use it.
The new one has six poles, the old one has four poles plus one wire—what’s that about? I looked it up and it turns out to be the position light inside the turn signal. I decided to cancel that connection and call it good (‘ω’)ノ
For now the harness is routed, so the rest is modification work.
