[Thoughts] The battery charges when you ride, but…

Sure, the battery charges when you ride, but…
I’ve never actually tracked the data on the balance between power generation (income) and power consumption (expenses).

I’ve heard stories about people riding for about an hour because the battery was weak. But honestly, I think just charging it for an hour would definitely store more energy.

Motorcycles are different from cars—the battery is smaller, which means less capacity.
You need to understand this first.

If you haven’t ridden in a few months and the battery gets weak, that’s totally normal, so don’t worry.
Since the battery can suddenly die while you’re out, I recommend replacing it on a set schedule.
If you’re the type who regularly removes the battery and charges it yourself or does maintenance, you can feel confident.

If you’ve never removed the battery and don’t own a charger, and you only get it charged during maintenance once a year or once every two years, you might want to be careful.

Overloading it drastically shortens its lifespan. Endless cranking on a hard-to-start engine… and then suddenly it goes out like a thread snapping. That happens a lot. As it gets colder, the battery suddenly loses its punch.

If you can’t remember when you last changed it, charge it first, and if the cranking is still weak afterward, then you should think about replacing it.
The importance of not being stranded, the peace of mind that your bike will start when you want to ride—let’s always keep that going! (*’ω’*)
