[Thoughts] Bitter memories leave a strong taste. (Motorcycle)

Most of my memories are pretty bitter (;∀;)
They’re 100% guaranteed to become good stories to tell.

But I think every day that this bitterness becomes prevention and countermeasures.

I always think deeply about why I ended up in such situations. . . .
( ゚Д゚)
Usually it’s because I cut corners—proceeded lazily, did things carelessly, didn’t I?
Temporary fixes get forgotten after a few days anyway.

As we live, we’re constantly swayed by all sorts of information and emotions, so I think our brains are always overloaded with data.

If I’d just handled things properly each time, right then and there,
“Ugh, if only I’d done it right,”
I wouldn’t have to regret it.

Even if I have equipment and tools and slack off on a 20-minute job, I’d only get halfway through or so.
But what if that shortcut becomes the cause of a hopeless situation out on the road?
• Somehow manage with the tools and materials I have on hand.
• Call a tow truck.
• Push it to a nearby shop.
Let’s say we handle it with these three options and make it back safely.

We end up wasting a lot of time and money. That alone is pretty painful.
After that, I need to properly redo that shortcut.

By taking countermeasures after avoiding trouble and thinking it through carefully, I think we can reduce wasteful, unpleasant time in the future.

Skimping on time and money rarely leads to anything good.
If we keep worst-case scenarios in mind and make choices we won’t regret, wouldn’t our outlook become more positive?
Painful experiences often become life lessons.

Enjoy a great motorcycle life! (^^♪
