The Bandit 1200 K6 is becoming an endangered species, you know.
Well, that’s probably true for oil-cooled bikes in general.
The 1200 series especially is tough to find. Compared to the GSX-R series, which was mainly imported, the numbers are just different.
First, we changed the engine oil.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic, so it’s best to change it every year or every couple of years.
If you go too long without changing it, it can get rusty or get all mushy, so watch out.
Let’s clean the inside of the cap too.
We adjusted the headlight, checked the exhaust emissions, and we’ll take it in for inspection tomorrow.
