When the weather isn’t clear, my mood isn’t either.
Don’t you feel like the year-end comes in the blink of an eye?
It just so happens that since the Reiwa era began, I’ve felt like something’s been off with the world.
Continuing with the harness replacement.

I’ll do a quick comparison of old and new for peace of mind.
It’s easy to think “it’s fine” when you open a bag or box.
Inspection and packing involve human hands, so there’s no such thing as absolute.
Rather than worrying about responsibility later, taking just a little time can reduce troublesome issues.

The differences between the 400 and 1200 are:
• presence or absence of a fuel pump
• presence or absence of a TPS
• neutral switch connector shape and grounding differences
—that’s about it, but it does add a bit of work.

I’ll route the new harness without putting stress on it.
It’s the reverse of removal—I secure the fuse first and then lay out everything from there.

Here’s the Inazuma 1200 igniter connector color scheme.
For reference.

The two TPS wires go into the empty slots, and I’m taking the ground separately.
*This is to avoid modifying the new harness. (Risk reduction)

This oversized limiter cut box is unnecessary—I could just pull out the resistor, but it looks good as is.
I’ll secure it as-is without taking risks.
Securing it properly makes everything look clean.

I’ll move the ground to the front. Scrape off the paint on the case side so it makes good contact.

Unlike the one with 200,000 kilometers, this one was clean.

Temporary layout is complete.
