Tail lamp area connections. Using heat shrink tubing (41 and 31 sizes) over the male spade terminals makes them easier to insert and keeps them from shifting, which is nice.
This aluminum plate—not 7075, I think—was given to me by a former racer K. He said he wasn’t using it, so I got this tired-looking aluminum sheet.
It’ll be reborn as your number plate holder.
With a shear and a punch, it takes five minutes.

You could make it look stock using Honda OEM parts, but there’s no end to it, so I’m taking shortcuts and keeping it fixed. It should run better than just using cable ties, right?
This time I’m using the Watanabe bracket. Since it’s universal, trimming off the unnecessary parts might make it look cleaner.
Sheared it in a snap with the shear.
Rounding the corners might improve safety by about one percent, hopefully.
The main ground is always a concern.
This time too, I’m thinking of going with Suzuki. (It’s more convenient that way.)
With a Shorai battery, you have to flatten the bend to fit it, so I’m going straight.
The most important ground connection that plugs into the harness. Z bikes from that era had no lock on them or something… doesn’t that scare you?
