For a while now, there’s been this strange problem where the clutch won’t disengage when the engine gets hot.
It’s been getting worse and worse, so the bike came into the shop.
But the clutch itself looks really clean.
When I push the push rod from the clutch side, it won’t return. The fluid level in the master is normal.
The release works on its own, but it won’t return. We just did an overhaul on this the other day, so there’s only one other possibility.
This tiny hole appears to be clogged, so the hydraulic pressure stays on.
The rod is fine, so we’ll reuse it.
There’s a meaningful mark here. The manual says to align them.
I see—they really do things right, and I’m impressed.
We fabricated the hose,
and fabricated the tank bracket, and we’re done.
