Initially we were planning just a fork oil change, but we decided to go ahead with an OH since there was a slight seep.
I’m the type who likes to push forward with the work. A little attention to detail keeps things moving smoothly and gives peace of mind with the finish.
Since not much time has passed since last time, everything was in clean condition.
The race is clean too. The underside shows no step wear, just light marks. Scotch tape took care of it.
Since a skilled person is doing the work, checking isn’t really necessary, but I’ll do a quick check anyway.
Next we move on to the fork.
There was no runout issue on either side.

Finishing the inner tubes carefully reduces leaks and extends service life.
It’s good to finish the areas where seals and metal parts go in cleanly.
Thread lock can accumulate deep in the threads, so cleaning with a tap ensures solid tightening. Peace of mind goes up.
Then we do a proper vacuum pull to bleed air and adjust the oil level.
A test ride and we’re done.
