The other day it came back to life after fixing the fuse contact. But now it’s stopped lighting up again…
Without the bulb inserted, we get 12V OK! Ground is OK too! But when we insert it, it drops to mV.
This is a puzzler…
All we can do is keep tracking it down.
Main switch → right switch → left switch → fuse → light. In that order.
I suspected the easiest contact point: the switches. Both left and right checked out fine.
Bypassing them made no difference either…
Of all places, it was inside the switch itself. That was the culprit…
Looking at the result, it’s a real “duh” moment. It wasn’t a break in the wire or anything like that. You learn something new every day.
