We received a request for Okada Projects Plasma Booster and Sunstar rear brake disc replacement.
This is the popular Okada Projects Plasma Booster. The idea is that it smooths things out and reduces vibration.
Since nobody seems to care about work-in-progress updates these days, I’ll skip ahead.
It’s secured with push rivets and band cord.
When you remove the seat, aftermarket parts like this look great when they’re neatly arranged and the workmanship is excellent.
It’s quite wavy. The rear is often in pretty rough shape.
The rear tends to get neglected. Even with light pressure, it grabs with a sharp feel, and the touch is good, so operating it becomes enjoyable.

The seating surface is dirty too, so let’s clean it up with an oil stone or similar.
Well, it feels great.
Let’s clean the caliper and apply some oil to the surface.
That black spray can I used back in the day.
This is still the thing to use. With this, it’ll look great and you’ll be able to ride it for a long time to come.
